Humble Beginnings
Ms. Angel’s journey began as a kitchen assistant in a Kosher Chinese restaurant, where she discovered her passion and discipline in the culinary arts.
Her skill led her to become a line cook in a well-known Italian restaurant chain with four thriving branches. Recognized for her leadership, she rose to the position of commissary chef, leading a central kitchen team and ensuring quality across all locations.
The Pandemic Reset
Turning Point
When the pandemic struck, Ms. Angel faced a career setback after being laid off. Undeterred, she turned this challenge into an opportunity by founding Angel’s Plate Catering, a venture driven by her passion for food, creativity, and the desire to innovate. Her talent for blending imaginative presentation with refined flavors quickly set her catering service apart.
Her vision expanded into event styling and décor, merging artistry with hospitality to create immersive celebrations.
The Evolution
Angel’s Plate Catering transformed into Angel’s Plate Events, offering full-service event planning, catering, and design. Alongside this, she established Devera Planners & Coordinators Inc., setting new benchmarks in the event industry. Expanding further, she co-founded Next Frame Inc., a creative agency specializing in marketing solutions that help brands enhance their presence and connect with their audience effectively.
